Hear post-match reaction from manager Jim Gannon after Tuesday night’s goalless draw with Solihull Moors at Edgeley Park.
Jim was a little bit disappointed with the result, believing the players had done enough in the game to pick up all three points, as we rued not taking the many chances we created in the game.
He was full of praise for Solihull as a team, believing them to be well coached and a side that will be up there come the end of the season.
The manager was however really proud of his team for the work they put in over the 90 minutes, especially with all the injuries the team has suffered recently.
Jim paid special tribute to debutant Ryan Croasdale, who picked up the Man of the Match award, describing it as ‘an absolute pleasure watching him’ after a tireless display in midfield.
There was an update on injuries, with the boss hopeful that several players will be fit and ready for the visit of Weymouth to Edgeley Park on Saturday.
