Jim was delighted at the performance from his team, reserving special praise for the Match-winner Jake Kirby, who took his pre-season goal tally to five.
The Manager also again reiterated the advantage of keeping the majority of last season’s title-winning squad going in to the new season, although did go on to say that he will continue to look for players capable of coming in to improve the squad.
