Match Officials Confirmed | Colchester United (A)

Referee Scott Oldham is set to take charge of Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two fixture between Colchester United and Stockport County at the Jobserve Community Stadium.

It will be the 13th time that Oldham has refereed County since first doing so against Guiseley in the National League North in 2014. Most recently, he took charge of our Bristol Street Motors Group Stage game against Bolton Wanderers at Edgeley Park, and has also overseen Colchester on one occasion this season – refereeing their 3-2 win away at Grimsby Town back in October.

The official took charge of 38 games across all competitions last season, the majority in League One, during which time he issued 125 yellow cards, two red cards and awarded 10 penalties.

Across the 28 fixtures he has overseen so far in 2023/24, Oldham has shown 82 yellows, four reds and pointed to the penalty spot on four occasions. His last game came in League Two on February 13th, as he oversaw Mansfield Town’s 9-2 win over Harrogate Town.

The Assistant Referees on Saturday will be Adrian Tranter and Ryan Williams, whilst James Vallance will be on Fourth Official duties at the Jobserve Community Stadium.
