Match Officials Confirmed | Crewe Alexandra (H)

The match officials for Tuesday night’s Cheshire derby between County and Crewe Alexandra have been confirmed, with referee Neil Hair set to take charge of the game at Edgeley Park.

It will be the third time that Hair has overseen a game involving County, with both previous occasions coming last season – our 3-2 defeat at Crawley Town and our 1-0 win away at Sutton United. His last game involving visitors Crewe also came in the 2022/23 campaign, overseeing their 2-0 win over Hartlepool United in February 2023.

The official took charge of 29 first-team fixtures in all competitions during the last campaign, the majority in League One and League Two, during which time he issued 112 yellow cards, six red cards and awarded nine penalties.

Across the 19 games he has overseen so far this season, Hair has shown 67 yellows, four reds and has pointed to the penalty spot 14 times. His last game came in League Two on February 3rd, as he refereed Colchester United’s eventful 3-3 draw with Forest Green Rovers, in which a penalty was awarded to Forest Green.

The Assistant Referees on Tuesday will be Danny Jarvis and Ravel Cheosiaua, whilst Richard Eley will be the Fourth Official at Edgeley Park.
