The match officials for Saturday’s League Two fixture between County and Doncaster Rovers at the Eco Power Stadium have been confirmed, with referee David Rock set to take charge of the game.
It will be the official’s first time refereeing County since last season, having overseen our 1-0 win over Colchester United at Edgeley Park in August 2022 – our first win back in the Football League.
Prior to that, he has officiated our 3-1 Emirates FA Cup win at Yeovil Town in November 208, as well as a 2-0 FA Trophy defeat to Brackley Town in 2017. He also refereed Doncaster Rovers on one occasion last season; a 2-0 home defeat to Harrogate Town last March.
Rock took charge of 32 games in all competitions during the 2022/23 campaign, during which time he issued 116 yellow cards, eight red cards and has awarded six penalty kicks.
In the 23 games he has officiated so far this season, he has shown a total of 87 yellows, six reds and awarded five spot kicks. His last game came in League Two on January 13th, as he oversaw Wrexham’s 2-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon.
The Assistant Referees on Saturday will be Kevin Mulraine and Jack Forder, whilst the Fourth Official at the Eco Power Stadium will be Oliver Bickle.
