Match Officials Confirmed | Forest Green Rovers (A)

Referee Charles Breakspear has been selected to take charge of Good Friday’s League Two fixture between County and Forest Green Rovers at the New Lawn Stadium.

Breakspear’s one and only previous game refereeing County came almost 12 years ago, taking charge of our 0-0 draw away at Newport County back in September 2012. He has since been an EFL referee for over a decade, and it will be his second time refereeing Forest Green this season – overseeing their 2-2 draw at Salford City in January.

The official took charge of 33 games in all competitions last season, during which time he issued 111 yellow cards, five red cards and awarded 11 penalties.

Across the 29 games he has taken charge of so far this season from the Championship down to League Two, Breakspear has so far shown 144 yellow cards, nine red cards and has awarded 14 penalties. His last game in charge came in League One on March 12th, when he refereed Derby County’s 2-1 win over Reading.

The Assistant Referees on Friday will be Justin Amey and Ollie Williams, whilst Craig Hicks will be on Fourth Official duties.
