Player of the Year: Harley Monaghan

Harley Monaghan received the Football Education Player of the Year award for the 2022/23 season, after showing remarkable development on the pitch and consistently producing excellent performances. Here’s what Harley had to say about the award, and his time at County:

How does it feel to win the Player of the Year award?
“Winning the Player of the Year award made me feel proud of myself because I worked hard and the reward topped off the season.”

How have the staff helped you develop as a player?
“The staff at County have helped me throughout the season by supporting me and critiquing me to shape me into a better player.”

What do you feel has been the best aspect of your game this season?
“Goal scoring was definitely my best aspect, but I’m always looking to develop every part of my game.”

What have you learned while at County?
“I have learned a variety of playing styles and how to accommodate to different players style of football.”

What would you say to somebody looking to join the Football Education?
“It’s definitely worth joining as it’s full of opportunities and full of great memories and lessons.”
