Double title-winner Sam Minihan has been confirmed as the latest guest for the Players Association’s special Supporters Meeting event in London on Friday 28th April, ahead of our final away game of the League Two season at Leyton Orient.
The event will take place at the Pavilion End Pub near St Paul’s Cathedral, where we will be joined by Head of the Players’ Association, James Jennings, as well as former County players such as Sam Minihan and Jimmy Carstairs.
Hosted by Club President Steve Bellis, the event will officially start at 7pm and run through until 9.30pm, although supporters are welcome to arrive early for a drink and stay on after the event has finished.
There will be a Q&A session with the players and other staff members, as well as a County quiz organised by Club Historian, Marcus Heap. Jimmy will also be presented with his SCAN certificate, and you’ll have the chance to interact with both him and Sam throughout the night.
Entry on the night is free, but bookings in advance are required and are available on a first come, first serve basis. Bookings are available online via the club site, at the bottom of the ticket page.
Head of the Players Association, James Jennings said:
“We’re really excited to be launching this event, which is a great opportunity for us to meet and interact with some of our southern-based supporters, as well as any other County fans who want to join us on the night. We know it will be a great atmosphere on the night, ahead of one of the biggest games of the season, and Steve and I are both really looking forward to welcoming everyone down.
“This event will be the first of many ran by the SCPA over the next few years, as we look to continue to engage with both former players, and supporters near and far.”
