Defender Ethan Pye has today joined National League North Spennymoor Town on a three-month youth loan deal.
The 18-year-old centre-half joined the Club in the Summer after being released by Rochdale, and has impressed whenever called upon this season – making his debut for the Club in a 2-1 win against Weymouth back in October, before also coming on as a second-half sub in our 2-2 FA Cup draw away at Bolton Wanderers. He has also appeared in both of our Cheshire Senior Cup ties so far this season.
He now heads to the North-East with the opportunity of further first-team football in the next stage of his development, at a Spennymoor side that sit just three points off the play-off places in the National League North.
