The match officials for our Sky Bet League Two fixture away at Bradford City this Saturday have now been confirmed, with referee Leigh Doughty taking charge of the game.
An experienced official, Doughty was promoted to the EFL in 2019 and has taken charge of eight fixtures so far this season, seven of them coming in the Championship and one in League Two. In that time he has issued 33 yellow cards and two reds.
Last season he refereed 32 games in all competitions, showing 118 yellow cards and four reds. Saturday will be his first time refereeing County and the first time he has taken charge of a game involving Bradford since March 2021 – a 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers.
He will be assisted on the day by Daniel Leach and James Wilson, with Ross Joyce the fourth official.
