Referee Scott Oldham has been selected to take charge of Saturday’s League Two fixture between County and Rochdale at Edgeley Park.
Oldham has already refereed County twice previously this season, overseeing our 2-0 win away at Salford City and our 3-1 Emirates FA Cup win against Charlton Athletic. It will also be his third time refereeing Rochdale this season, having took charge for their 2-0 Carabao Cup win against Burton Albion in August and their 0-0 draw at Barrow in January.
The official took charge of 34 games in all competitions last season, the majority in League Two and League One, during which time he issued 100 yellow cards, two red cards and awarded five penalties.
So far this campaign he has refereed 35 games from the Championship down to League Two, showing 118 yellows, two reds and pointing to the penalty spot on nine occasions in that time. His last game saw him take charge of Reading 1-1 Birmingham City in the Championship on Easter Friday.
Oldham will be assisted on the day by Richard Woodward and Grant Taylor, whilst Wayne Grunnill will be the Fourth Official.
