The club can confirm that our Head of Performance, Jake Simpson has left the club in order to take up a new role at Carlisle United.
Jake, a former County player, joined the club in January 2022, having previously worked with manager Dave Challinor at both AFC Fylde and Hartlepool United.
He was part of the backroom staff when the club were crowned National League Champions last year, securing promotion back to the Football League after an 11-year absence.
He now makes the move closer to home in joining Carlisle, who are managed by his dad and former County boss, Paul Simpson.
We thank Jake for his contributions during his time at the club, and wish him the very best in his new role.
News on Jake’s replacement will be announced in due course.
