Tallis to referee Emirates FA Cup clash

Referee Scott Tallis is set to take charge of Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup clash between County and Forest Green Rovers at Edgeley Park.

Tallis first refereed County back in January 2021, overseeing our 1-4 win away at Woking in the National League. He has taken charge of four further games involving County since, last doing so back in February 2022 for the 2-2 draw against Chesterfield at Edgeley Park – where the Spireites were reduced to 10 men.

He refereed Forest Green Rovers on one occasion last season, taking charge of their 2-2 draw against Grimsby Town in November.

Scott Tallis has taken charge of ten fixtures across all competitions so far this season, mainly in League One and League Two. During that time, the English referee has issued 45 yellow cards and no red cards.

His first League One match of the 2024/25 campaign came in late September, overseeing Stevenage’s 1-0 win over Charlton – a game in which nine yellow cards were issued.

The Assistant Referees at Edgeley Park on Saturday will be Thomas Harty and  Jack Forder-Hay, whilst Callum Jones will be the Fourth Official.
