County defender Akil Wright has been nominated for the PFA Vertu Motors League Two Player of the Month award for March.
In a month where County carried the best defensive record in League Two, conceding just twice in six games, Aki has been a rock solid presence on the right-hand side of our back three.
He has also had a telling contribution at the other end, producing the cross for Paddy Madden’s sublime header in our recent home draw with Mansfield Town.
