The story goes…
Wham Groove were one of the biggest bands of the 1980’s. But as with many popular groups who make it to the top of the charts, success went to their heads and the band split in one of the most acrimonious break-ups in music history. Thirty years later, however, the perms and the padded shoulders are making a return as Wham Groove, having put their troubled past behind them, are getting ready to hit the road once again for their comeback tour.
Tickets for their UK tour sold out in minutes, but a small number of lucky fans have been invited to Edgeley Park for the launch night, and the chance to meet the band. But have Wham Groove really recovered from the turmoil which caused the break-up all those years ago? Will they even make it to their tour bus? And will anyone be arrested for crimes against fashion?
