Club Statement: Use of pyrotechnics

The Club is currently investigating two separate incidents of pyrotechnics being thrown onto the field of play during recent away games at Charlton and Hartlepool.

There is a zero-tolerance policy across football in the UK regarding the use of pyrotechnics at games, and a string of such incidents in recent weeks mean the Club now face the possibility of being charged and fined by the FA.

Please note that these items are illegal inside a football stadium, and anyone caught in possession at a game will be issued with banning orders from Edgeley Park.

At a time where County fans are quite rightly receiving widespread acclaim for their fantastic support of the Club home and away, we do not wish for the actions of a minority to tarnish that reputation. We ask that you continue to show your support for Dave and the team in the right way.
