Stockport County will face Cheshire neighbours Macclesfield Town in a pre-season friendly this summer. The fixture against John Askey’s newly-promoted side will take place at Edgeley Park on Saturday 28 July with a 3pm kick-off.
The Silkmen are celebrating promotion back to the Football League after winning the National League title with a game to spare.
