Czubik can’t stop scoring

County’s teenage striker Szymon Czubik has carried his amazing goal scoring streak into 2018 after finding the net on his debut for Radcliffe Borough.

The Academy youngster signed dual registration forms with Radcliffe this week and came off the bench to score in Borough’s 3-1 home win over Ramsbottom in the Evo-Stik North on New Year’s Day.  It means Szymon has now scored in 13 consecutive games, taking his tally to an incredible 23 goals in that period.

Szymon joined Alan Lord’s Academy two years ago after impressing during a friendly against Goole Town and following a recommendation from Goole’s youth boss Marc Brown.

Al said: “He has continually added technical, tactical and physical attributes during two years of coaching under James Gannon – he is a pro in the making.”
