Stockport County is working with its Official Wellness Partner Vitality, to offer a new programme to fans of the club and wider residents of Stockport to help improve their health and fitness in the new year.
Kickstart with County will start on Monday 5th February and will take place between 6-7.30pm each Monday at Edgeley Park for six weeks. Up to 30 places will be available on the Kickstart programme and all participants will receive support and encouragement to reach their Kickstart goal with tailored expertise from County Community Trust staff and wider Vitality resources. Each participant will also receive a range of gifts and offers from wider Vitality partners as a reward for completing each week of the programme.
Kickstart will work in a similar way to other established programmes which help participants build up their fitness and running capability to be able to complete a 5K course at the end of the six-week programme as part of one of Stockport’s popular Parkrun at the beginning of March before being invited to a Stockport County home game.
