All the highlights from our pre-season victory away to Colne FC are now available, as two goals in quick succession in the first-half were enough for the Hatters to claim victory.
With both teams wasting presentable chances early on in the game, it looked like we would go into the break frustrated until, five minutes before the break, Adam Thomas’ cross was turned into his own goal by a Colne trialist.
Just moments later and it was two, Jamie Stott’s cross finding Thomas, who planted a header into the corner to put County firmly in control of the game.
The second-half was a slightly more low-key event, although sub goalkeeper Josh Barnes showed his quality on a few occasions with some sharp saves, to keep the clean sheet intact.
