On ballboy/girl duty this Saturday – Spurley Hey Girl’s U10s!

Spurley Hey Girl’s U10s will be on ballboy/girl duties for this Tuesday’s game against Southport at Edgeley Park.

Spurley Hey Football Club was formed in 1968 since that time it has grown from a single team to a club spanning 11 junior teams and 3 senior teams.

The club is based in the Stockport area, and all the coaches and management within Spurley Hey are focused on helping every player enjoy football, learn and develop into quality footballers.

With a mixture of FA accredited coaches, ex pros, and professional coaches, they feel that they have a great ethos at the club and welcome any new players.

Their Girl’s team was formed about a year and a half ago, initially struggling to find a Girl’s League, and so for the first year, they played in a Boy’s league.

Now they are very pleased to find themselves in the very well-run Cheshire Girl’s League Stockport, playing at the Seashell Trust in Cheadle – a fantastic venue where Girl’s teams from all over Cheshire come together to enjoy the beautiful game.

All of the Girls love playing football, and are showing true signs of skill and ability on the pitch; all this whilst having immense amounts of fun playing the game.
