Squad Update

Stockport County have re-signed Ben Jackson from Huddersfield Town on loan until the end of this season.

Ben Jackson has already made 18 appearances for the Hatters during the first half of the season, but was recalled by his parent club a month ago due to an injury crisis at the Terriers.

Ben impressed the County fans during his first stint at Edgeley Park, most notably when scoring the winner at home to AFC Fylde early in the season.

Jim Gannon was keen to strengthen his squad and secure Ben’s signing in time for the impending departures of Joe Leesley and Adam Hamill’s, whose loans expired following today’s home clash with Boreham Wood. We would like to thank Joe and Adam for their efforts during their time with County.

Jim has also offered left-back Tyler Garratt an extension of his contract for the remainder of the campaign.

Tyler has also had a very successful run at County, having played eleven games for the Hatters since arriving at Edgeley Park, and he’s been on the winning side seven times. In his short time at the club he has helped County rise from 17th position into a top seven Play-Off spot.

The current loans of Tom Walker and Devante Rodney from Salford City are both set to expire on Monday, but there have been positive talks between all parties about a further extension of the loan. Those talks will continue over the next 48 hours, and the club will provide a further update on Monday.
