With a month to go before the start of the new National League campaign, Hatters fans have snapped up well over 1700 season tickets during the renewal and Early Bird discount periods, already surpassing last year’s total.
It’s the sixth year running that season ticket sales have increased.
Chairman Richard Park said: “I want to thank everyone who has bought a season ticket for 2019/20, we’re all tremendously excited about the new campaign following our Championship-winning season last time around.
“I’ll never forget those amazing images of our fans celebrating the title win, and we’re looking forward to our return to the National League.
“As you would expect, we have increased our investment to reflect our promotion and the additional costs of being at this level, and we believe we have the resources to be competitive in the higher division and the squad is in excellent shape as we look ahead to the big kick-off.
“We are also anticipating more additions to the squad before August 3.
“The pitch will be in good shape for the new campaign and we would like to thank everyone who came to our three big gigs last month, the support we had was phenomenal, but now it’s all about the football and it’ll be amazing to see the famous Pioneer Group Cheadle End rocking again when we kick off the new season against Maidenhead United in a month’s time, a game which will also be shown live on TV.”
This week the club unveiled its new home kit and confirmed a new commentary deal with Imagine Radio, whilst County’s pre-season schedule begins later today with the traditional summer curtain raiser at Cheadle Heath Nomads.
Season tickets are still available at our standard prices right up to the start of the season, so there’s still time to renew or buy your new ticket before the big kick-off on August 3.
