Player Progression

Ashton Mee

Academy Scholar Ashton Mee featured for the first-team once again during December. The young midfielder started in County’s Bristol Street Motors Trophy tie at Wigan earlier in the month, where County unfortunately exited the competition.

Cody Johnson

Academy graduate Cody Johnson continued to impress, and made numerous appearances in the first-team, building on his early season form. The midfielder, alongside Ashton Mee, started at the DW Stadium against Wigan Athletic, before making a substitute appearance in County’s emphatic 8-0 victory over Sutton.

Pijus Otegbayo

U16 winger Pijus Otegbayo featured for our Academy Scholars in the FA Youth Cup once again, after an impressive display from the bench against Leighton Town in the second round. The youngster made a substitute appearance, as County looked to get back on level terms.
