The Academy look ahead to the end of the season, with only a few games remaining of the EFL Youth Alliance North West Division. The Scholars faced off against Salford City and Walsall, while our U14 team travelled to Italy to compete in the Fattorie Donna Giulia Cup.

Salford City (H)
Our Academy Scholars began the month by hosting Salford City at Stockport Sports Village. County hit Salford for four in the second half, with all four goals coming within a ten minute period. Watch the best bits of the action below.
Walsall (H)
Our Academy Scholars ended the month with a 2-0 victory over Walsall. Josh Fowles and Ashton Mee grabbed the goals either side of half time. Watch the highlights of the game below.
Player Progression
Luke Partington
Defender Luke Partington joined Guiseley AFC on a work-experience loan in March. The young right-back joined the Northern Premier League club to gain first-team minutes.
Cian O’Shea
U16 goalkeeper Cian O’Shea travelled to Carrington in March, gaining experience training around the first-team setup.
Personal Development
Our Academy Scholars were visited by the League Football Education (LFE) this month, as they were given a talk about the transition into life after football. This covered a wide range of topics, from further education to scholarships overseas.
Junior Academy
Our U14 team travelled to Naples this month, to compete in the Fattorie Donna Giulia Cup. The young Hatters faced off against Bologna, Benevento and Blue Devils. This was the first international tournament that the Academy have featured in since its inception in 2022.
