Football Education | Sports Career Pathway Student of the Term | Harrison Clayton

Sports Rehab student Harrison Clayton was awarded the Student of the Term award for the Sports Career Pathway, after displaying great willingness to learn throughout the term.

Harrison offered his thoughts on the award:

How does it feel to win the Student of the Term award?

I am very happy to have won this award. I’ve worked very hard at college and at home to make sure all of my assignments were up to a good standard and handed in on time.

What have your teachers done to help win the award?

My teachers have been amazing providing me with constant feedback and helping with any issues or problems I have had. They have been there for a chat about work or even just a chat about life itself.

What have you done this term to set you apart from the rest?

I think what set me apart the most was that I asked a lot of questions. Some people can be scared to ask for help when they feel that what they are doing is wrong but I think that it is important to being successful.

What has been your favourite part of the Sports Rehab course so far?

My favourite part of my Sports Rehab course this year has been when the SEN school came in most recently. It brought a smile to not just my face but everyone else’s too which was a great thing to experience.

What would you say to somebody looking to join next year?

One thing I would say to someone looking to join next year would be know when you need help and to not be scared to ask for it. Everyone needs a helping hand at some point and it helps you understand that you are not alone in your journey.
