An exciting young prospect, Rico joined County on loan in January 2023 from Aston Villa.
Coming through the ranks of the West Bromwich Albion academy, Rico won the Premier League Cup in 2021/22, a cup competition for Under-21 sides, along with representing England at youth level.
He went on to make two senior appearances for the Baggies, including a debut against Arsenal in the EFL Cup before making the switch to Villa Park following his contract expiration in 2023.
Rico made his debut for the Hatters on 27th January 2023, coming on as a substitute in a 5-1 win against Doncaster.
